Welcome to Our New Hire!
The Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Christope Durpaz, Switzerland, has accepted our job offer and will begin with us in Spring 2008 as an assistant professor specializing in sedimentology and stratigraphy!

. In March students went for a long weekend trip with adjunct professor Dr. John Haynes to various West Virginia caves, to learn more about karst topography in the Appalachian region. (Thanks to Lee Boop for providing her photos in an online album!)

It's part of Lamont-Doherty's Cooperative Network. You can find out more about this network and view recordings here !
